It Looks Like a Movie. I Have No Idea What's Going On.

When I run Codex in VS Code,

lines of things I don't understand start racing up the screen.

English words.

Numbers.

File names.

It finds something, fixes something, then runs something again.

Sometimes I just sit there and watch.

It feels like a scene from a movie.

A hacker sitting in front of a computer,

frantically typing complicated commands into a black screen.

But there's one big difference.

I type a few lines and use Ctrl+C to copy.

AI does most of the work.

Then a thought occurred to me.

"Before AI, people had to do all of that themselves, one thing at a time?"

Just thinking about it made my head spin.

The funnier part is,

I barely understand what any of those lines scrolling up the screen actually mean.

Of course, if I really want to know, I can just copy one and ask AI.

"What does this mean?"

And it explains it nicely.

I tried that a few times.

Then I stopped.

You don't need to take apart a TV just to watch it.

Do I really need to know?
