For days, I kept nervously checking the analytics.

Still, no one had visited my site.

I could see that it was gradually starting to appear in Google Search.

But no clicks.

The next day, still 0.

The day after that, 0 again.

I kept checking the number for no real reason, then leaving.

A few days passed.

I opened the screen again.

Huh?

Something looked different.

I looked again.

Click: 1.

It had definitely been 0 the day before.

My heart started beating faster.

This wasn't going to be like GA4, was it?

I wasn't just looking at my own visit and getting excited again?

I quickly took a screenshot and showed it to AI.

"Is that really one click?"

AI checked the screen.

"Yes. There has been one actual click from Google Search."

"And that wasn't me?"

"No. Someone saw your site in Google Search results and clicked on it."

It was real.

Someone had finally found my site through Google.

Just one person.

One click.

Maybe it was nothing.

But to me, it was different.

I hadn't given the address to someone I knew.

I hadn't advertised it.

Somewhere in the world, someone searched for something.

Out of all the websites out there, Google showed them mine.

And that person clicked.

The exact thing I'd imagined when I first started was actually happening.

Make something people need and put it online, and the search engine finds the people who need it and connects them.

I'd wondered if that really worked.

And now,

the number 1 was right there on the screen.
