What kind of pictures should babies see before they fall asleep?

I thought about it.

A cute animal simply lying there felt a little boring.

I wanted something that looked like a dream.

Swimming through the ocean with a whale.

Walking on clouds with an elephant.

Looking at the stars with a rabbit.

I wanted it to feel like a child could look at the picture and drift straight into the dream.

So I told AI,

"Draw a whale asleep in soft, fluffy clouds."

A moment later, AI's whale appeared.

Oh.

There was a whale, eyes closed and asleep in soft, billowing clouds glowing gently in the moonlight.

It was good.

AI has gotten much better at drawing these days.

Hmm.

I like this.

I'd learned something from working with AI.

When it's doing something well, keep going.

If I waited and came back later, the same mood might not carry over.

Suddenly, I felt a little rushed.

Next, an elephant.

Done.

Next, a rabbit.

Done again.

A penguin, an owl, a koala, a hedgehog, a panda...

One by one, the characters appeared.

The distance between imagining something and making it had gotten shorter.
