Imagine It in Detail.

When I built my first website, I started building before the planning was finished.

I thought as I built,

and changed things as I thought.

After doing it once, I felt like I understood something.

It was important to be able to see the whole website in my head.

This time, I spent much longer planning before I started building.

What the first screen would look like.

Where the characters would be.

Where the buttons would go.

How the captions would appear when the video started.

Where the Back button would take you.

How it would look on a phone.

It was a kind of blueprint made out of words.

I made it as detailed as I could.

Then I showed it to AI.

"This is what I'm going to build.

What else do I need to plan?"

I talked it through with AI and refined the plan in more detail.

I also carefully worked out the process of a baby falling asleep.

I looked into how long babies typically take to fall asleep and how long they sleep overall.

With that in mind, I designed the lullaby to gradually get quieter and the visuals to gradually get darker.

Even the moon and stars would slowly disappear so they wouldn't disturb the baby's sleep.

AI is good at turning imagination into reality.

Imagining it in detail is my job.
