Shuttlecock Shooting Stars

The night sky felt a little empty.

"Can you make a shooting star fall every now and then?"

Apparently, it was possible.

We made it.

A shooting star fell.

But it kept falling from almost the same place.

"Make them fall from different places — over here, over there."

We changed it.

This time, it was too regular.

It looked like they were falling in a set order.

"Can't you make it look more natural?"

AI said we could use random numbers.

I took that to mean they would appear more or less randomly.

"Alright. Try it."

This time, it looked pretty good.

Done.

But while adjusting this and that, I must have changed something I shouldn't have.

Suddenly, the tails of the shooting stars spread wide in both directions as they fell.

Hang on.

What is this?

They looked more like shuttlecocks than shooting stars.

Shuttlecock shooting stars were falling across my website's night sky.
