Is There a Way to Do This All at Once?

I was making sounds.

The process was complicated.

Make the sound.

Join the pieces together.

Smooth out the joins.

Check it again.

It took several steps just to make one sound properly.

Even checking whether the finished file had been made correctly was complicated.

I had to run several programs

and check things step by step.

I kept doing what AI told me to do.

But after a few days, it started getting annoying.

Then I casually asked,

"Isn't there a way to do all of this at once?"

AI explained a few different methods.

I asked again.

"No, can't you just make the sound properly from the beginning?"

"That's possible."

Huh?

Hang on.

"Make one."

A little while later, the file was ready.

I listened to it.

It worked.

And it didn't take long.

All the countless steps I'd been going through just to make one sound flashed through my mind.

"Then what have I been doing all this time?"
