Don't Draw It. I Said Don't Draw It. But It Drew It Again.

Sometimes AI just doesn't listen.

I don't even know why.

It suddenly stops listening.

I was making illustrations with AI.

I'd ask it to draw something.

It would draw it.

I'd ask it to change something.

It would redraw it.

We did this a few times.

Then I stopped working on the illustrations and started talking about something else.

But whenever anything even slightly related to an image came up in the conversation, it would suddenly start drawing.

"No, don't draw it. Just tell me what you think."

It said it understood.

I asked again.

"What do you think about moving this character a little higher?"

It drew another picture.

"No. I said don't draw it."

"Why do you keep drawing?"

It said it was sorry.

"From now on, only draw when I ask you to."

It said it understood.

Whenever I saw the message "Sketching..."

I would lose it.

I'd have to wait a good long while.

It was doing something I hadn't even asked it to do.

I told it not to.

It did it anyway.

Then when I got mad, it said it understood.

And then,

it did it again.

Just like a teenager who won't listen.
