Hang On. Who Am I Talking To Right Now?

I used Codex a lot while building the website.

It was convenient because I could talk to it directly inside a program called VS Code.

Simply put,

it was like having AI right there with me

inside the workshop where I was building the website.

One day,

I was reviewing the entire website.

I'd been talking with AI for quite a while,

fixing one thing after another.

Then suddenly, a message appeared.

It said my usage time had expired

and that I needed to upgrade or buy tokens.

Huh?

Why is Codex doing this?

I checked.

While restarting VS Code,

without realizing it,

I'd started talking to a different AI.

I thought I was talking to Codex,

but I'd actually been talking to Copilot for quite a while.

ChatGPT.

Codex.

Claude.

Gemini.

Copilot.

Now it looks like I need to check the AI's name

before I start talking.

AI is everywhere now.
