A Color That Matches a Sound?

The black-screen noise website

was a site where people could play different kinds of noise while they slept.

Once I started lining up all the sounds as cards, I ran into a problem.

I needed some way to make each card look different.

What I was struggling with was the color.

What color should I use?

After thinking about it for a while, I asked AI.

"Can you listen to a sound and choose a color that matches it?"

"That's possible."

Possible again.

It said it could look at the characteristics of a sound

and choose a color that suited it.

"Then give it a try."

And it didn't just say,

"Blue would work well."

An exact color code.

Give it another sound, and it would suggest another color.

I tried those colors on the actual cards.

Hmm.

Not bad.

"Wow. Is there anything you can't do?"
